Shareholders Information

The Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. stockholder receives all the information related to his/her shareholders position at his/her registered address:

  • Statement: every time there is a movement in the stockholder position such as a stock dividend, split, a subscription that is exercised, an entry to the dematerialized share position of Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. or a retirement of shares;
  • Dividend and Interest on Capital Payment: each dividend and interest on capital payment released on a monthly and complementary basis;
  • Information for Annual Income Tax Return: statements containing the shareholders position for the last day of the financial year and a summary of all the dividends and/or Interest on Capital received annually.

For this reason it is essential that the Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. stockholder maintains up to date basic enrollment information at Banco Itaú S.A. in order to receive the appropriate information at his/her/its chosen address.

Change in Enrollment Data

Changes in basic enrollment data can be made through branches of Banco Itaú S.A. or at its Shareholders Services.

The shareholders must provide authenticated copies of his/her identity card and Brazilian income tax enrollment number and an original document indicating proof of residence as a prerequisite for any alteration.

Shareholders Position

Shareholders positions can be requested from Shareholders Services or from branches of Banco Itaú S.A. These are provided exclusively:

  • to the shareholders through the presentation of authenticated copies of his/her identity card and Brazilian income tax enrollment number and an original document indicating proof of residence as a prerequisite for any alteration;
  • to a duly authorized attorney in fact, through the presentation of a power of attorney plus authenticated copies of his/her identity card and Brazilian income tax enrollment number and an original document indicating proof of residence of the attorney in fact.

If on requesting your shareholding position you receive information that there are no shares registered in your name, one of two events has occurred:

  • you have already sold your shares;
  • your broker holds these in custody.

Free Custody Services

The stockholder may register his/her shares in Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. as follows:

  • at the securities' broker where you bought the shares, the broker assuming entire responsibility for the payment of dividends/interest on capital and provision of information on all corporate actions involving Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. stock;
  • or through the system of dematerialized Itaúsa - Investimentos Itaú S.A. stock. It is important to remember that Banco Itaú S.A manages the system of Itausa dematerialized stock.

  • enrollment details for your current account and stockholder position are combined. Any change in one set of information will automatically be registered in both sets of enrollment details.
